Our story
Moon Brook Emporium became real when L.C. discovered how many hand-knitted keychains Mel had given away over the years. The mother-daughter duo Mel Moon and L.C. Moon-Greenemeier developed the original product and expanded upon the idea of everyday, functional items being beautiful, handmade, and one-of-a-kind.
When not working for Moon Brook, Mel loves to spend her time with both of her kids (and her favorite son-in-law!), reading, walking the greentrails, or writing in her journal. L.C. enjoys reading, time with her super supportive husband, their pets, or outside. Both ladies tend to spend a lot of time daydreaming, doodling, and living life passionately!
A family Legacy
Mel and L.C. follow in the footsteps of generations of women who survived on their craft. From gardening, canning, and cooking to sewing, tatting, and card-making, generations of Moons (and Mel’s maternal family!) have thrived with their creative side at the forefront.
